Professional Music Lessons for Odenton & Fort Meade Families
For families stationed at Fort Meade or living in the Odenton and Crofton areas, finding a music teacher who values structure, discipline, and measurable progress is essential.
Located just a short drive west via Route 32, Dan O Music Academy provides Anne Arundel County residents with a dedicated, professional environment for classical piano and guitar instruction. Led by a Master of Music (M.M.) in Performance, our faculty replaces the chaotic, unstructured environment of retail music stores with a rigorous, goal-oriented curriculum.
Structured Learning & Measurable Progress
We understand that our Anne Arundel County families value clear benchmarks and disciplined instruction. We do not just teach students to mimic their favorite songs; we build comprehensive musicianship.
Credentialed Faculty
You are learning from working professionals with advanced degrees, ensuring all instruction is rooted in proper physical mechanics, comprehensive music theory, and standard notation literacy.
Rubric-Based Goals
We actively prepare our students for standardized state adjudications, including the MMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival. We treat music education with the same structured focus as an academic subject, giving students clear targets to hit each semester.
Focused Environment
Our studio in the Laurel Executive Park is designed strictly for education. Free from retail noise, it is a calm, professional space that allows students to concentrate fully on their repertoire and technique.
Comprehensive Lesson Offerings
We are currently accepting new students and matching them with our expert faculty for afternoon and evening instruction.
We instill proper right-hand classical mechanics from the first lesson, advancing students through rigorous ASTA and NYSSMA-level repertoire.
Detail-oriented piano coaching focused on sight-reading fluency, dynamic control, proper pedaling, and mastering foundational classical works.
