Dan O Music Academy Summer Guitar Retreat are immersive, weekend-long intensive designed for players ready to take lessons to the next level. This is not your average summer camp—it is a hands-on, high-energy weekend where students rehearse as a band, make memories together, and cap it all off with a live gig / music video.

Live Gig Experience
The retreat culminates in a live, fully amplified showcase. Students learn stagecraft, setlist pacing, and how to engage an audience.

Students work together to create a Music Video keepsake to milestone their progress.
Community & Comraderie
Learn to work on a team with other musicians.
Share meals and space with one another to build a community bond.
Enjoy non-music activities like hiking.
Band Dynamics & Rehearsals
Move beyond solo practice. Guitarists are grouped into bands to learn the art of listening, locking in with a rhythm section, and arranging songs collaboratively.
